After a hot day of field tripping and touring, we stopped in the middle in this river with a waterfall and cooled off and napped in the shade. Paradise I tell you. Paradise.![]()
More touring. There was this ancient Roman city we went to after the river. This was such a cool place to see, because a lot of the places we go see are pretty run down and you have to imagine a lot of parts to it. But here was so in tact that you didn't have to imagine much. it was all right there. It was huge. And we sweated in the heat.
The public bathroom in the Roman Civilization. You all sit in this huge room together in the middle of these stone slats...and the water runs underneath.
Some eggs we found while hiding in some shade we found.
Shabbat over the Sea of Galilee and the River Jordan
I don't think in all my life I will ever have a sacrament meeting with as pretty of views as I've had here. This Shabbat we had a whole view on a cliffside looking out onto the sea of Galilee. We had people in our class volunteer to give talks. Such an amazing Sunday. I keep thinking I've had the best Sunday ever, and then the next one is the best.
